[New Feature] Boiler Manuals Added To Gas Engineer Software
Finding the manual for the boiler you’re looking for really shouldn’t be difficult… but it’s often one of those little annoyances while on the job. Whether the customer lost their copy or you’re sifting through Google trying to find the right one for this specific model, it’s time you aren’t getting back.
We’ve had countless engineers ask us for boiler manuals within the app, and we’re happy to announce they’re finally here.
What’s New?
This update is simple: you can load up PDF boiler manuals directly in the Gas Engineer Software app.
We’ve added manuals for all major manufacturers and models, so you can reference them as and when needed on the job.
Specific manuals can be found via the search function, and all diagrams, illustrations, and instructions are preserved.
If you’re looking for a manual we haven’t yet added to the app, simply get in touch with us, and we can add it for you.
How This Changes Your Workflow on the Job
Before this update, engineers we spoke to typically:
- Googled the manual and scrolled to find the right one
- Dug through saved PDFs on their phone
- Called the office or a colleague
Each interruption chipped away at their schedule. Jobs run longer. Evenings get shorter.
With boiler manuals in the app:
- Everything you need is in your pocket
- You don’t have to rely on your customer having their copy, or search for it yourself
- You spend less time troubleshooting and more time actually working
On busy days, the last thing you want to be doing is searching for a manual. With all the information you need, you can complete the job confidently, look professional in front of customers, and get on with your day.
How to Use the New Feature
Boiler manuals can be accessed in just a few taps:
- Open the mobile app (Android or iOS)
- Tap Tools & Manuals, then Boiler Manuals
- Select or search for a manufacturer, then choose your mode.
More Updates Are Already in Development
We want to make Gas Engineer Software as useful as it can be to engineers on the ground. This is the first update of many to come.
