[New Feature] Boiler Manuals & AI Assist Added to the Apps
Finding the manual for the boiler you’re looking for really shouldn’t be difficult… but it’s often one of those little annoyances while on the job. Whether the customer lost their copy or you’re sifting through Google trying to find the right one for this specific model, it’s time you aren’t getting back.
We’ve had countless engineers ask us for boiler manuals within the app, and we’re happy to announce it’s finally here (alongside a useful AI assistant that searches the manuals for you for a cited answer.)

What’s New?
This update has two components:
2,300+ PDF boiler manuals
We’ve added all major boiler manuals (2,300+ of them) to the app, so you can reference them as and when needed on the job.
The manuals are stored on your phone so you can access the right manual in seconds without having to search for it online. It’s displayed as a PDF so you can flip through any diagrams or instructions.
If you’re looking for a manual we haven’t yet added to the app, simply get in touch with us, and we can add it for you.
Boiler AI Assist
We’ve also built an AI assistant that helps you find answers quickly and easily.
Ask it a question (such as “How do I enter the service mode on a Baxi 430 combi boiler?”), and it will find the right manual, put together a short answer, and (crucially) provide you with a link to the specific page it used to generate its answer. Using this feature means you won’t have to flip or scroll through a manual to find what you’re looking for.
Now, we know what you’re thinking… “How can we trust AI to find the right answers?”
There are two solutions to this.
The first is that the chat has been designed to only source answers directly from the boiler manuals themselves.
Second, when it provides its answer, it always provides a link to the specific page in the manual where you can quickly double-check and confirm the answer.
This way, you get guidance instantly and can double-check diagrams or procedures without hunting through 40+ page PDFs.
How This Changes Your Workflow on the Job
Before this update, engineers we spoke to typically:
- Googled the manual and hoped the link wasn’t outdated
- Dug through saved PDFs on their phone
- Called the office or a colleague
- Scrolled page by page to find the exact section they needed
Each interruption chips away at your schedule. Jobs run longer. Evenings get shorter.
With the new feature:
- The manual is already waiting inside the app
- You can ask the AI assistant a question instead of searching manually
- You get the right answer with a verified source
- You spend less time troubleshooting and more time completing the job confidently
It removes the stop-start pattern that slows engineers down — especially on busy days when you’re moving between several properties.
How to Use the New Feature
- Open the mobile app.
- Tap Boiler Manual to open the manufacturer PDF instantly.
- Or tap the boiler icon in the bottom-right, type your question, and get an answer based on the official manual.
- Follow the link provided if you want to see the exact manual page or diagrams.
More Updates Are Already in Development
This is the first step toward building the UK’s most helpful technical resource for heating engineers — one that lives directly inside the tools you already use every day.
More improvements are on the way. Stay tuned.
