Creating an Air Source Heat Pump Record
If you’re already using Gas Engineer Software for gas certificates, quotes, invoices, and job management, nothing feels different. ASHP service records now sit alongside your existing certificates and job history. The workflow is as follows:
- Start creating a new record
- Select Air Source Heat Pump Record
- Add the appliance details
- Fill out the record
- Sign, and send.
See the full help article here. With this certificate added to the software, you can manage air source heat pump certificates with the same speed and professionalism as your gas work.
There’s also a new appliance type added to the software, so you can add heat pumps and save them tied to a specific job address, just like you would with a boiler in GES.
Automatic heat pump service reminders
When you complete an air source heat pump record, the next service due date is saved against the heat pump itself (see below). As that date comes round, Gas Engineer Software sends your customer a heat pump service reminder email, just like it does for your gas service work. You can fully customise this email like other reminder emails in GES.
That means next year’s service is already lined up the day you finish this one. You don’t need to keep a spreadsheet or set a reminder on your phone.
